Terms & Conditions

You are purchasing a handmade product where variations and irregularities are to be expected, adding to the authenticity and nature of handmade.

Images of finished products are examples. We use pure wool felt, often hand dyed, and upcycled fabrics, so no two will ever be the same.

Where possible options may be offered for some items, however these are only guidelines to help us understand your preferences.

Our online store does not carry our full range so if you see items of interest in any of our images on website or Instagram, please ask.

We are a small group of makers and although we try to have stock on hand, this is not always possible. We have a pre-order system in place with a window of 1-4 weeks (plus post) when stock is not available.  If you require an item quickly or to check on stock availability, please call or email first.

Unless stated otherwise, we do not recommend our toys for children under 3 years old. Please use your discretion when choosing toys for your children and see the ‘Baby and Toddler’ section, for appropriate options.

Prices and details of our products are subject to change without notice at any time.

Many of our products are original designs and are the artistic and intellectual property of Birch and Bear.

Payment options

We accept Paypal/visa/mastercard/bank transfer

We do not offer Afterpay.

Returns/exchanges:

We do not accept returns for change of mind.

We do except exchange of goods however postal costs are incurred by the customer.

All returns must be authorized by us at Birch and Bear by phone or email and returned within 20 days of purchase date with receipt.  In case of all returns, goods must arrive to us unused and in original condition and or packaging where applicable. If goods are not in original condition, no exchange will be offered.

We recommend all returns be sent via tracked postage as we are not responsible for items lost or undelivered.

We only accept refunds if goods are faulty and cannot be repaired.

Freight/postage:

We currently only offer online postage within Australia. We are happy to send internationally however you will need to contact us before purchasing, for freight costs.

Flat rate for all orders within Australia $12.50. We use Australia Post with tracking.
