A simplified doll kit using traditional Waldorf techniques to create a ‘formed head’ from natural fleece with a choice of 3 skin tones. The art is definitely in creating the head shape and firmness so the focus of this kit is just that. With simplified instructions put together by our incredible in-house doll maker who makes all of our beautiful Birch and Bear dolls, you will find this kit both a little challenging and a lot satisfying!
The body shapes have been made for you and just require stuffing with fleece and attaching of hands/feet/head and hat. We offer 2 body shapes: the lightly filled square shape is ideal for young children 1+ years and you can simplify it further by not adding facial details or the firm round bottom shape which is well suited to age 2+ years. Our standard kit does not include fleece, this can be added separately if required, see drop down boxes. Approx. 150gm of clean carded fleece is needed per kit. Level best suited to some knowledge and experience of basic craft skills.
